About us
Firehouse Farms LLC is OPEN FOR BUSINESS! 😀We are located in Floyd county, and are a small family owned and operated USDA Custom Exempt Slaughter and Meat Processing facility. We focus on cows, hogs, sheep and goats.
This has been a dream of ours for 6 years and we are so happy to finally have our doors open ( open December 2022 ).
A little backstory, my husband and I have laid over 2,500 concrete blocks , we did the footers and prepared the gravel and plastic and rebar for the concrete flooring and put the roof on with a little help from Papa🙂. We saved, planned, worked and dreamed of this buinsess for the last 6 years and finally opened in December 2022. It's been a family affair with just the 2 of us and some occasional help from our kids. Our families were so supportive and we could not have done any of this workout that support, and our endlessly grateful ♥️
We have a big blended family with 6 kids ranging from 17 to 8 months , we live in Willis and all of our kids are currently in FCPS.
Here at Firehouse Farms we offer everything under one roof, you can bring your livestock to us and have it slaughter processed and packaged, and we also will be selling our own pasture raised hogs and cattle to purchase in whole, half, or quarter. You have a choice in what cuts you want and we can customize some of the cuts as well if desired. Your meat will come vacuum sealed ( 5 mil bags ) and ready to throw in the freezer.
We believe that the only humane way to produce meat is to have more small facilities like us, where we have the ability to ensure our livestock live happy, and healthy lives. We want to help STOP big factory farming and make it more affordable and accessible to purchase meats locally and easily.

What we offer
Slaughter and Custom Processing
We have custom cut sheets and offer a variety of cuts and are always happy to do it up however you want!
We have now added cubed steak, beef patties, and expanded our sausage seasoning options as well 🙂
**For cows/hogs we charge $100 kill fee and $1.00/LB Hanging Weight to process.
**Sheep and Goats are $200 for singles and $180 each when you bring 3 or more
**Min hang weight for hogs is 140lbs
**Min hang weight for cows is 400lbs
